Overall score: 78/100

Tested October 2019

If you want instant photo prints without the faff of a retro film-camera, look no further than the Instax Mini Link Bluetooth printer.

This pocket-sized device prints credit card sized photos straight from your phone camera or photo library in just 20 seconds. Though they can take up to two minutes to properly develop. It has lots of fun features to try out, including the Party Print mode that connects up to five smartphones to create funny photo collages, you can print snapshots from videos and you can use it as a remote to control the camera of your smartphone. It’s available in a range of different colours with quirky names– dusty pink, denim blue and white ash.

GHI Expert Verdict

We loved that this printer produced sharp and clear photos very quickly. Although, we did notice that some photos that had a lot of contrast between light and dark lacked vibrancy. That said, its abundance of fun features makes this photo printer the ideal gift for both teenagers and children.
