A West Des Moines restaurant serving healthy meal options is closing its doors at the end of the month.

Mixed West Des Moines, located at 9250 University Ave., Ste 113 in West Des Moines recently posted a closing notice on its Facebook page. Its final day of service will be Oct. 31.

The restaurant serves healthy salads, wraps, soups, panini and sandwiches, sides and kids’ meals for quick and convenient breakfast, lunch and dinner meals.

“Regretfully and with sadness, after over five wonderful years, Mixed will be closing its doors permanently on Thursday, October 31, 2019,” the Facebook post said. “We had a great experience serving each and every one of you with healthier-for-you wonderful salads, wraps, paninis and soups.”

The small regional franchise, owned by Mike Hopson and managed by Brad Hopson, opened in August 2014.
